  • Maple Spring Gardens Herb Barn 9779 Allison Rd Cedar Grove USA (map)

Herbs can be extracted into alcohol or glycerine for potent internal & external remedies. Come and learn various methods of making these herbal preparations and what they are best used for.

In this hands-on class we will explore making tinctures and glycerites, what part of plants & when to harvest for highest potency. We will take a plant walk through the garden where each participant can harvest fresh plants to make a personalized tincture or glycerite to take home. Detailed handouts included!

We will take a break in the middle of class to chat & grow our herbal community. Please bring a snack if needed, a water bottle (which you can refill), and anything you need to take notes.
